On December 11, Gilles FOURNIER will take over the management of KÄSSBOHRER France. A challenge that the busy 55-year-old intends to take up, bringing to his new employer and his teams solid experience, proven methods and a clear vision of the technological challenges in sensitive environments.
Gilles Fournier, originally from Auvergne, has been traversing the French mountains for many years. At a young age, he was a member of the French cross-country skiing team before studying economics in Grenoble and then going on to study commercial and management sciences at L'Ecole Supérieure in Montpellier. His first job was at Rossignol. He then worked in sales for sports equipment and mountain ski rental companies such as Les Techniciens du Sport (TDS), and later for Twinner and the Intersport Group.
In 2012, Gilles Fournier moved to head the French subsidiary of the Austrian Wintersteiger Group, which he has managed to this day. During this time, he gained a wealth of experience in the world of skiing.
Top athlete, ski instructor, sales manager and then general manager at leading international companies - this is how Gilles Fournier's career can be summarized until he now takes over the management of Kässbohrer France.
